We have a new Chairman this year - Alan Hultquist, who is an East Preston resident and a wheelchair user himself, so he is well versed in the difficulties encountered by those with mobility problems.

Richard Akhurst, who has been involved with the group since it's inception in 2014 and was Chairman himself for some time, will continue to support the group as Vice-Chairman.

Unfortunately we have lost several members over the last couple of years, for various reasons, and we are hoping that our new website will generate some interest and new members!  We also intend to set up a Facebook page.

News Update:

We now have a Facebook page - many thanks to Maz Mitchell for her help and advice!

We were delighted to welcome two new members to our meeting in September, both of whom support our current project to "Reach the Beach".  This has been on our agenda for a number of years and we are hoping to re-ignite support for planning permission for a path and promontory onto the foreshore at the end of Sea Road or Sea Lane to enable people with mobility problems to access the foreshore and enjoy the lovely sea views.  Many thanks to Simon Cross from EPPC for also attending

the meeting and for his advice and support.

Our next meeting is on Monday 1st November at 11am - please contact Alan Hultquist on 07899 571007 if you would like to attend.
